Russet knows climate change is a significant threat to us and our children, and she is intent on fighting against any efforts to diminish the progress Virginia has made in recent years. Russet is committed to making Virginia a leader on environmental issues by creating good-paying clean energy jobs, reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, supporting clean air and water, and preserving our open spaces.
Conservation of our land, clean air, clean water, and historic buildings is a priority for Russet. In Richmond, she will work to protect these cherished resources and ensure that they are here for our children, grandchildren, and all future generations to enjoy. Russet will also empower our local farmers by ensuring they have the resources they need to protect their livelihoods and supporting policies that strengthen our rural economies in western Loudoun and northern Fauquier counties.
