While working as a prosecutor, some of the most concerning cases Russet encountered were those where crimes were committed against at-risk, defenseless, or vulnerable individuals. 

From stopping elder abuse, to improving the treatment of individuals with mental health conditions, from aiding people struggling with drug addiction, to protecting and supporting victims of domestic violence, stalking, sex crimes, and child abuse,  Russet has dedicated a career to protecting these individuals and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the laws in Virginia will not leave any of our most vulnerable citizens behind.
