Proudly Representing Virginia's 31st Senate District
Russet spent most of her career as a public servant, both in her role as a prosecutor and as an officer in the CIA. Now, she brings her fierce advocacy on behalf of the constituents of SD-31 to Richmond, where she works as our Senator. Every day and with every bill she puts forward, Russet strives to protect our most vulnerable citizens, safeguard our fundamental rights, and ensure every Virginian is treated fairly.
Having trouble with a state agency? Have an idea to improve the laws in our Commonwealth? Learn how Russet can help.
Your support will ensure that Russet can continue her tireless work in public service, fighting for kids and families in SD-31 and a secure future for all Virginians.
After running the most competitive race in Virginia, Russet's win has resonated across SD-31. In her first two years as a Senator, she passed more than thirty consequential bills that are now law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. With thoughtful legislation that advanced student mental health, prioritized the needs of victims, reduced healthcare costs, preserved our open spaces, and increased public safety, Russet has delivered on her campaign promises and will continue to put Virginians first.
The 31st Senate district was created as part of the redistricting efforts of the Virginia General Assembly in 2021. It includes portions of both Loudoun and Fauquier counties.
